Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-08-25T12:53Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-08-25T12:53:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: N03E18
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
FOV: Front Bright front; may be evidence of pileup
GAP: Data gap
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
CHP: CME - Coronal Hole Proximity
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: CME observed to the E in STEREO A COR2 and SE in GOES CCOR-1, not yet in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 due to a DSN gap. The source is a filament eruption spanning approximately ~S05E20 to ~N05E13, centered ~N03E18, and an associated C4.7 flare peaking at 2026-08-25T12:58Z observed in SDO AIA 131; nearby but not associated with AR 14513. Observed as the filament ejecta and brightening in SDO AIA 304 and field line movement, dimming, and brief post-eruptive arcade in SDO AIA 171/193. Also seen in STEREO A EUVI 304 as the filament ejecta at 2026-08-25T12:45Z over its east limb. Significantly overlaps with prior CME: 2026-08-25T10:38Z from AR 14513.

Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
